Once the winning ticket is drawn, it will be communicated to all 4 Lions Clubs.
If the winner is present at one of the Lions Clubs, and they wish to choose a card for the Jackpot,
they may present themselves to a representative of one the clubs within 15 minutes of the draw,
The winning ticket holder, once verified, now may go to the place of the draw within 30 minutes, to
choose a card from the deck and have a chance to get the Ace of Spades to win the build-up Jackpot.
If the winning ticket holder is not present at one of the Lions Clubs, then the Chase the Ace representatives
will choose a card. You do not have to be present at the draw to win.
The cards will be shuffled and placed face down on the table and the winning ticket holder,

After the draw, the designated draw supervisor will display to all that the Ace of Spades was in the deck.
If the drawn card is the Ace of Spades, then the ticket holder will win the Jackpot.
If not, then that card will be removed from the deck. The Jackpot will then be held over to the next week’s draw.
The deck of cards & the removed cards will remain under lock-up with the Chase the Ace representatives until the next draw.
The prize structure is as follows:
20% of the total sales from that week will go to the holder of the winning ticket.
30% of the sales will go to build up the Jackpot.,
50% of the sales will go to the 6 community partners, divided equally –
North Star Arena 2020, North Rustico Fire Dept., North Rustico, Hunter River, Cymbria & Winsloe Lions Clubs.
The draw procedure will be visible for participants to see, as it will be live-streamed on our North Shore Chase the Ace Facebook group page.
Once the Ace of spades is revealed, the game is concluded. This may happen the first Saturday evening or any Saturday thereafter.
In the event of storms/cancellations, the event will continue as usual on the following Saturday.
Any tickets purchased will automatically be for the next draw. The North Shore Chase the Ace committee reserves
the right to change the date and/or place of the draw if other community events are in conflict.
In the event the game gets to the point where the organization cannot accommodate an increased number
of participants safely, advance notice will be posted and a special draw day is announced to give the jackpot away
to a ticket holder to end the game. On that special draw day, if the first person whose number is called doesn’t draw
the ace of spades, another ticket will be drawn and that person will get a chance to pick the Ace of Spades, this will
continue till the Ace of Spades is drawn. Only the first person picked will get the 20% percent of the weekly sales. The others will have a chance at the jackpot only.
If you have purchased a ticket but cannot be present for the draw, then the draw supervisors will pick a card from
the deck on your behalf. Please note, if you are allowing people to purchase tickets on your behalf, all prize money including
the Jackpot will only be paid out to the “Ticket Holder” recorded in our system.
For promotional purposes, any Chase the Ace prize winner will automatically be deemed to grant the community partners the
right to publish, through all types of media broadcasting, including internet, their full name, hometown and photograph without
any claim for broadcasting, printing or other rights. Any winner who is paid a prize also gives the above noted organizers the right to publish any additional information that they voluntarily provide.
All winning amounts will be paid to the “Ticket Holder”, by cheque.
You will need to enable your location in your browser/device to purchase tickets online.
